I hate storing my sewer hoses in my bumper for fear of rusting out the bumper and I really hate storing them in my storage box. I decided to build a storage tube / support rail for them. I took 2 sewer hoses and connected them together and slid them inside a 4 x 4 vinyl fence post sleeve. I then took that post sleeve and slid it inside a 5 x 5 vinyl fence post sleeve. I made the inside sleeve about 3 inches shorter than the 5 x 5 sleeve. I then drilled holes on the ends of the 5 x 5 sleeve and inserted a 6 inch carriage bolt and nit to keep the inner sleeve from sliding out while moving. All that was left to to was strap it to my rear bumper. When I get to a campsite and hook up, all I have to do is take the combined unit down and connect my hose to the camper and then extend the sleeves til it reaches the sewer in the ground. Made a couple of supports out of pvc to keep the pitch at a good angle and I was all set.
Good idea. I have also seen this done with a rain gutter channel inside the post cover that slides out as well.
Not sure how much room you have to maybe mount that on top of the bumper (looks like a BBQ might be the way) because it does look at bit vulnerable to being scrapped off while going through large dips in the road. Just an observation.

Looks good. Maybe some L brackets or similar to mount it up? I did similar under the trailer and second the gutter. With your open side it will let the "stuff" air out and dry out, prob not a bad idea.
Just curious as to why no frame mounting? I would also be careful to avoid bottoming out. Tough to tell the ground clearance. Good job either way!

With the way the frame may "flex" I wouldn't want the PVC to crack. Also it's more of a pain in the ass to bolt it back up each time I use it. Still working out the kinks. I don't think it will bottom out. I used to have a sewer hose holder roughly the same size and I haven't had any issues with scraping. I do like the idea of the L brackets. I will look into that. Thanks
It will be bolted...just checking size. Just won't be bolted through frame.
I bolted mine to the frame without going through it. Captured it with two stainless steel bolts and fender washers on each side of the frame rail. See pics. Also, here's a pic with the rain gutter as someone mentioned above. (Note I've moved it from my Roo 19 to my Mini Lite and painted it black.)
Didn't like hanging it under the bumper - reduces your clearance when going across gas station entrances.
Hey that helps with what I am trying to do with mine. I got a brand new hose and of course the connection end does not fit inside the bumper. and the hose is about 12 inches too long. I don't want to cut the hose off. But might have too. I will still store in the bumper, but need to do something like that with a bigger end cap to fit the attachment end.

Akrap, I pretty much did the same install as Rockfordroo except I installed mine on top of the bumper using 5" fence post and vinyl guttering. Installed with plumbers strapping and some self tap screws.
The little extra height makes for not so much work on the ole body to have to bend over as much. Quick and easy access, and it blends in pretty much with the back of the TT.

I brought a plastic box from Walmart that I store my sewer hose in and also the thing that holds up the hose. The sewer hose is two, 15ft and a 10ft hose combined. I also have another plastic box that I keep the water hose in and water pressure regulator. I have a 25ft one a me a 35ft hose that I brought cheap at Walmart.
The only reason I used the fence post is because the 4" post inside will telescope out of the 5" post and it will act as a support for the hoses. I also made supports from 3/4" PVC that break down for storage.
