To give yourself a little more clearance inside, you can use the rivet mandrels and knock the heads out and flatten the rivets on the inside.
BTW, nice job.

I did the same thing, but I guess the cold weather decided to deform the plastic and it caved in about half way down the post. I was able to get half the hose out, then it split in half due to the other side of the hose was "trapped" behind the indention...
Bought a new hose...

I see you put a lock on it. Who would steal a sewer hose, after the first use!

Anyone wanting a sewer hose. We don't lock ours, but I think I have 4 in different places on the camper.

Why 4? I thought I read before that you plumbed everything to a single discharge so shouldn't only 2 or 3 suffice for redundancy?

We store our TT in a large (500+ campers) storage facility. I will have about $50 worth of hose in there so a lock is a small peace of mind for me.

Some folks at Goshen last year found out their hoses were too short and they came in handy for them. They are left over from previous campers and I bought 2 of the newer Rhino's and never use the others.

Can't have too much hose. We have two grey tanks so we use two 10' hoses connected to a Y, then 15' to the sewer. I already know I will have to construct another storage tube if I want all of the sewer hoses out of the storage compartment. Right now we only store the hose that only sees grey water in there, in a tub.

Hard to drain a black tank with a spare tire.

Do you have a valve at the 'Y' to prevent backflow of the black to the hose connected to grey? Otherwise I don't think you could say 100% that it only sees grey water.
That aside, I'm also carting 2 x 10' and the 15' starter Rhinos. The 2 x 10' fit in the bumper. The 15', the flange and the x-hose I use for black tank flush fit in fence post. Unfortunately the fence post doesn't fit my rhino 90 degree elbow, so it's still riding in the old tote until I work out a better solution. Maybe swapping out to a 45 degree, not sure.

Before we dump the black, we remove the second grey tank hose from the Y and cap the Y. But I do understand your point.

Could just pick yourselves up one of these:

Great job with that post.
I would like to do that on my trailer.
I'm in Canada, I checked Home Depot and Lowes on line and can't find anything.
Where do you people buy those 5x5 fence posts.
The only thing I find in 4" round ABS...and not sure if my Rhino will fit in.
Fellow Canadians who did that...input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I picked mine up at a Lowes in Michigan during a weekend trip, then I just threw it in the trailer when I came home.
