On ours, the day/night shades were either given away or thrown in the trash (we hate them). Venetian blinds @ every window, down and closed.

After years of working in windowless areas, I keep the blinds up when the TT is parked in our yard. When camping elbow to elbow to the next site, they come down.

Our TT has the fantastic fan/vent to the sky in the bathroom. I wish it was in the living area cause I love the light that comes in. I know a lot of people complain about it, but I wish I had one.

A trick we found with the pleated shades when they begin to loose their shape is to spray laundry starch on them then leave them folded for a bit...viola!!! good as new...

Save your shades from the sun. Cut out cardboard panels to fit in the window frames. Leave the shades up to maintain the pleats and hold the panels in.

I have a piece of the double reflective insulation cut for each window. It's placed between the window and the day night shades and shades down hold the insulation in place. Really keeps the heat out when traveling.

We also put cardboard in our windows when it's going to be parked for a few weeks. Also put a reflective car windshield thing over the shower skylight to keep UV rays from fading stuff in the bathroom and to lower the heat. Use two spring loaded curtain rods to hold the windshield thing in place.
