Question Shower stall "stuff" holder

I'm looking for a holder for the stuff you use in the shower. I tried the "twist & lock" suction held holder that goes in a corner. It wouldn't stick to the pebbled surface of the shower enclosure.

As a result I just put my soap, shampoo, etcetera on top of the "cabinet" beside the shower.

Any suggestions?

In Canada we have refillable holders that you fill with shampoo and liquid soap and they attach permanently to the wall with silicone. You just refill from the top.
Available at Home depot . .and we are very happy with it. Worth a look I think.

We too had the same issue. Went to Wally Mart and bought a chrome wire hanger type that had 2 suction cups at the bottom and 2 hooks that hang over the shower wall/glass. The 2 hooks at the top also provide hanger hooks on the outside of the shower to hang whatever. Enough space for stuff and a soap bar holder at the bottom and 2 hooks for hanging wash cloths. We even leave it up and it travels well. It was about $10 if memory serves me.

I got one of those despensers for shampoo and soaps, but needed something for larger items, so I found crome wire triangle shaped corner shelves at Ikea for $3 each (in the bathroom section). Used short molly bolts and put one in each corner above the tub surround. They work great, I throw the kids bath toys in there to dry, hand light clothes off them to dry, etc. I found the molded in plastic corner shelves on the tub surround made everything slide off, pretty useless.

Be careful with the units that are supported using the shower head. I can tell you from experience at my sticks and bricks that the extra strain they can put on the pipes can cause cracks. Repairing them is no fun. I opted to go for the multi compartment holders that are glued and to the wall as other replys have suggested. Works great and can be purchased most anywhere such as Home depot, Bed and Bath, Camping World, ........
