Sky light cover for my bathroom

Ok, Everybody, I need your help/advice,
First trip was this weekend in my Rockwood Signature Fifth Wheel.
We are very happy and excited. Anyway, our new toy is only 30AMPS and of course one AC unit. We are in Florida and right now is very very hot; so we are learning how to play with the AC vents in order to get the most efficiency of one AC unit. But ready to take a shower Saturday afternoon (temp outside was probably in the 90's) as soon as I walked in the bathroom, WOW WOW WOW, the amount of heat coming from the sky light was very obvious. Is there some type of cover for this area?
Any other tips for one unit AC?

DW made a fabric shade that we hold in place with 2" velcro strips at 8 points around the perimeter of the skylight frame. Really helps at blocking the sun. Sorry I don't have a pic.

I painted the top (exterior) of my skylight white. BIG reduction in heat, but still lets in some light

Also, I've heard of people removing the ceiling fixture in the bathroom, and stuffing some clear bubble-wrap into the space between the interior and exterior, then reinstalling the interior ceiling fixture.

This 2011 thread might be more interesting. I've had a similar issue in my 2016 ML 2503S, so the factory hasn't done squat to resolve it. I've done what he shows on one side of my AC, but I did it from the top. Need to pull the bottom and do it right.

The typical vent stuffers probably won't work there. You can get a front door "solar" window cover from Camping World that is 24" x 16" and might just be the same size as your bathroom skylight:

In our case, DW made a "solar" (i.e., reflective) sky light cover made in two layers - the top layer was made using a mylar reflecting window cover (bought from the dollar store for $1) with a bottom layer of red oil cloth from the fabric store. Magnets were glued in place in between the layers - one for each screw that holds in the skylight (use small strong magnets, not little cheap ones). The two layers were fused together using spray adhesive. The reason for the magnets is to stay up of course, but also to avoid the issue of Velcro tabs potentially not sticking in the shower and also getting gummed up with soap, shampoo and hair.

This cover plus two vent stuffers make a huge difference in keeping out the solar heat especially when in storage. We are counting on the vent stuffers helping to keep it warm inside once the weather cools off.

This is what I put up in my skylights. Didn't cut all the heat but it sure helps. I still put reflectix over the entire skylight when we aren't camping

For our seasonal in Florida, painted the exterior of the Skylight with gloss white paint, made for rubber and plastic. After more than a year, paint still in perfect shape despite 365 full sun and salt air.
Step two was to add Reflectix, tucked in into the frame edge of the skylight. The Reflectix can and does get wet, no issues.No more heat issues from the skylight at all.
Warning, once you discover how great Reflectix works, you will likely add to many other areas within your fever.

I am cheap and I used a white foam cord board cut to size and held in place with screen clips. The screen clips are similar to the ones that hold the clear vinyl window covers on the screen door. These can be purchased at a local hardware store and the foam cord board from an arts and craft store. See attached pictures.

I like, where did you get it and how is it installed?

My wife bought some broad cloth at the fabric store. I unscrewed the ceiling fixture, laid a couple layers on top of it and put it back. I have not felt any heat since I did that, but I still get plenty of light.

I have tired other remedies, but I like this one the best.

I finally settled on that look from Amazon. They are available at Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Amazon and I'm sure, other places. They have lots of designs and styles.
It installed easily with water, a squeegee and a utility knife or scissors to cut to fit. Get the glass/plastic wet, place film over area and squeegee the water out until the water is gone and all bubbles are removed.

I used this product I bought at Home Depot for about $5. R-Tech 1-1/2 in. x 2 ft. x 4 ft. Rigid Foam Insulation Has an R valve of about 5. Works great in my skylight and is easy to cut.

We have noticed the hot shower for a few years. Finally I decided to do something about it. I purchased a windshield sun screen, cut it to fit the frame of the skylight. I attached sticky back Velcro dots along the edges of frame and shade and stuck into place. Cheap, lightweight, and if you want light or heat it just pulls off and then re-attaches.

I would figure out a way to cover it on the outside. Something like an opaque bin.
