Slide outs and marriage
This isn't meant to be improper, but should you worry about marital relations in slide outs? We are new and full timing it now, so I think we are at the worried about everything stage haha.

That depends.....with window shades open or closed? Slideouts are usually quite strong, I would recommend not getting overly rambunctious or kinky though, especially if your at a KOA or somewhere and the neighbors entry door is 5' away lol.

Must be newlyweds! I'm only kidding but to help answer your question, my 175 pound teenager flops down hard on the slideout couch and rocks the whole trailer. Highly annoying but doesn't seem to hurt anything.

"marital relations"????? Is that when my wife tells me my shirt doesn't match my outfit or when I forget to pickup an item or 2 at the grocery store? If so, I understand marital relations perfectly, if not, I'm totally in the dark here. After all, I've been married for 55 years so I'm sure you understand!

No, slide outs should handle any normal activity associated with the furniture in it.

I've been reading wmtire's thread on relationship humor and I don't think your worries will last to much longer.

Yes, but I think that was an issue with water intrusion? Or just a bad failure... there are thousands of RVs out there with 10 of thousands of slides... How often do we here of them just falling out? AND I AM SURE THEY'VE BEEN "USED"

There was a thread on here not too long ago, where the hard rear slide fell right out of the back of trailer while they were sleeping......anything is possible.

Keep the answers coming, this is hilarious!
We always worried about excessive bouncing of the RV, we've all seen the rockin' campers and laughed.
Anyway, if the slide falls out, you'll have wonderful bragging rights (after you put your pants on).

We always use the floor; keeps from falling off the bed when it gets wild.

listen - if you can seat 4 people at a dining table that weigh 225 each and 2 X 225 lb people on a couch at one time... that's 1500 lbs on the slide out rails.
we support our slide outs with braces manufactured especially for that kind of weight.
I highly doubt that anyones come close to 800 to 1000 lbs of thrust if getting it on in the extended slide.
At our ages (55) we use our arms and backs energy wisely...
kayaking.
seriously research slide out supports - they take teh rocking out of teh slide out and trailer so you can sleep well knowing that your tossing and turning won't make the neighbors jealous

If you're rocking the trailer that much you might want to invest in a set of Steadyfast trailer stabilizers.

So, what your saying is at that level of thrust your more than likely to break a hip? What a mood killer...

I thought you posted that your slide out hurts from laughing so hard.
if that lasts for more than 4 hours please seek medical attention - or some sort of attention...
