Stabilizing

Does anyone have any suggestions on stabilizing. My camper has warning signs by the stablilizng jacks suggesting only to use the tool provided. I see several people using electric drills with sockets attached to lower the jacks. Does this help stable the camper better? I can't seem to get it stable unless I put jack stands under the camper. My camper moves when my kids walk through it, and I have the jack stands as tight as I can get them with that tool they provide.

Suggestions???

Many camper use power drill drivers to raise and lower the stabilizer jacks. This get the job done quicker with less effort.

Depending upon the type of stabilizer, they will keep the trailer from rocking side to side. Rocking forward and backward can be minimized with wheel chocks.

The electric drill doesn't work any better. It is just easier and faster. You might want to try a set of X-chocks or some similar product between the wheels.

Need xchocks or rotochocks that go between camper tires...it'll stop most of your movement especially fore to aft.
I'd get a pair for both sides

If you need more steadiness after the xchocks are in place, I'd recommend the BAL stabilizer bars...they install between your scissor jacks and the frame of your camper.

That will absolutely stop every inch of wiggle in your camper

If you really want to eliminate most movement, in addition to rotochocks check out stabilizer systems such as JT Strongarm or Steadyfast. Type either in the search function for lots of info on them.

I put Steadyfast stabilizers on both my Arctic Fox and my Sandpiper. It virtually eliminated the rock and roll when entering or leaving the trailers. I am really happy with the outcome.
