Storage Area Requirements

This will be the first year I have to store our new to us Roo hybrid. I previously had a Coleman pup that I stored for the winter inside an unheated garage at my cousin's farm but the Roo is too big to fit inside the garage. There is no place I can store it under a roof so I'll be storing it outside in a grassed area behind the garage.

Most people here on the forum seem to store their trailer on a gravel or paved area. Are there any negatives to storing the trailer on a grassed area? I plan on putting down 24" x 24" concrete patio slabs for the tires and the tongue jack so they aren't on the grass but should I consider laying down a gravel pad? And do I need to lower the stabilizers for the winter?

As long as you have good drainage, I would think what your planning sounds fine.

The stabilizers has been discussed on here before and my thinking is, I don't feel it is necessary for me.

I had put my stabilizers down but began to think that's just one more way for the mice to get in easier.
