Sugar Ants
Hey y'all, been having an issue with sugar ants in my kitchen area. Wondering if any of y'all have had this issue and what is the best and cheapest way to get rid of them. Other then you general housekeeping.
Any advanced will help.

I haven't had an ant problem in any of my trailers but at home I get good results with Grants Ant Stakes. I wet the bait portion with some hot water and stir it with a toothpick. When the ants don't take this bait I add a drop of honey.

We always use Terro with great results. A few drops on a piece of cardboard and they come running. Have to let them take it back to their colony and kills them all.

Google "ant killer Borax". (sugar, water and Borax) Works great, cheap. Darn close to as good as Toro. We put the mix on cotton balls then put the cotton balls on tin foil. . You can refresh it after a few days with an eyedropper.

We use a combination of Terro traps put in strategic places and an eco-friendly ant spray to kill ones we see.
Are you getting new ones in? Or dealing with existing ants from a past trip?
If the former (new ones in), make sure you get the most gnarly ant killer that you're willing to tolerate and spray anything that touches the ground: tires, electric line, hoses, stabilizers, landing gear/tongue jack, etc.

We just used the Terro as other posters have suggested, and that stuff works! The ants are GONE. They are gone and I don't see any coming back. We used it for 2 nights and haven't seen any since.

We use Terro liquid traps at home and after the first few days tens of them are dead on the floor.

Home Defense by Ortho. I had BIG problems at home on the road for 3yrs. Used it 1 time no ants for 2 yrs. Then a couple showed up, did a lite spray. Now its been 4 yrs more still no ants. At home or camp sites I spray the ground around ever part of camper that touches the earth no problems.

Used the Borax mix at home works great on our RV I go to the dollar store and get some cinnamon when I get to a site I sprinkler some we're ever anything touches the ground have seen ants come up to the cinnamon and stop also not harmful to pets or kids. I was shown this by another camper in Savannah GA got up one morning and our unit had ants go up the water hose up to the roof of our unit
