Take two of these and call me in the morning - Kingsford Charcoal Containers

Was at Walmart last night and came across these charcoal storage containers that have great lids and seem very sturdy. I bet you can think of 20 uses for them in the RV world. They were of course in the grill section. Give them a try if you are in the store. For around $10 they seem like a steal. The lids fit tightly and they also have a handle and flip-top to the lid. Very convenient. I purchased two of them but might buy one more before they're gone.

So you would use a charcoal container for dog food. I use a large rectangular cat food container for charcoal. It has a tight fitting hinged lid, a handle and holds one large bag of charcoal. Being rectangular, it packs in our storage compartment without wasting space like a 5 gallon bucket would.

I'm thinking the 50 amp cord will fit in that. And I *know* the water hoses will fit in it, maybe the stinky slinky.

Headed to WalMart tomorrow anyway, for more seal-a-meal bags.

I'm really happy with how sturdy they are. I put one in my vertical slide out slam latch door. (Had to take a jigsaw to the handle however.) I'm not really sure what I'll be putting in there yet, but I have tons of options. Even to use as a small garbage can is a good idea. The lid is the only thing that has permanent Kingsford markings on it and it could be covered over if necessary.

I have about 10 of these doing various duty. They are tough, waterproof, and stackable. Of course, it helps that we have two cats, but if you can find them, they are great.

Yep. Great for dry dog food. And for charcoal. I got mine at Lowe's.
