Tankless water heater

Anyone using a portable tankless hot water? Been looking at the Eccotech L5 brand. Seems very good according to the reviews I have read. What are you using and any info about it. Thanks, Paul

I have used a small propane water heater while tent camping I don't see the application for an RV

This would be for an outdoor shower while camping for the extra people that need to shower. Cut down on in the rv showering.

I bought this Coleman on demand portable water heater:
https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Deman...n+water+heater

The idea was to have it as a backup on the RV since we had an incident where our WH went out on a trip. It comes with a 5 gallon bag to fill with water or you can put the hose in any water container.

So far we have only used it to wash the dog in the back yard since he's spoiled and we wanted warmer water than straight from the hose.

It was hard to maintain the temps when you stopped and started since you have to kill the burner when you stop the flow. 5 gallons goes by pretty quickly. I haven't taken it in the RV yet.

I have the Ecotech L5 we used when we had an old Scotty trailer with no shower. It works very well. All it needs for operation is a cold water supply, a tank of propane, a D cell battery for the igniter and a post or fence to hang it on.
Depending on how it's used, a shower curtain assembly and a grate to stand on is nice also.
