I always bring my credit card and hope I do not have to use it. On my last long trip it took a hit of almost $3000 to do repairs to TT.

I carry a XDS .45 3.3.
I also carry and axe and a sledge hammer. Extra everything else I can think that I might possibly need. Oh and ALWAYS carry tons of rope it comes in handy for everything and a 3/8" log chain just incase two tires blow then I can chain up one axle and limp to town.

A spare power converter. Ours went out on a weekend the 1st year that we owned our fifth wheel at Harpers Ferry WV. W called all over and nobody was open. We were heading to Virginia Beach and ended up going back home. It was difficult to track down a new one. We did though and bought a new one and turned the bad one in for a replacement. Now we have a spare.

If your converter does go when away from home you could charge the battery with a high quality charger. It would let you get home and be able to run all the 12 volt items.
