Never did hear of a cheater bar being called a "Johnson Bar" however.
And of course some of us still call them "Ford Wrenches". I understand Henry Ford included an adjustable wrench in each new car - thus the name.
Some of us still call an adjustable wrench a "Cresent Wrench" after it's manufacturers name.
Only Johnson Bar I know of is the trailer
