Every now and again you'll see a sewer hose along the side of the road where someone's end cap came off and the hose followed. You may have seen them before, but now you know what they are and will understand.

Ditto. I made a holder out of 5" square plastic fence post and attached it to the underside of the unit.

Just got a call from my son yesterday checking in to see how I was doing ....he was passing a camper at that time on the highway....camper was dragging 25 feet of sewer hose from his rear bumper going down the highway at 65 mph.....hose flying everywhere....for some reason he said it made him think of me.....don't ask why....

We Were in the Yosemite area, in our previous 5th wheel, 7-8 years ago going around a curve, like a switchback, and had no idea ours flew out. We parked somewhere, a guy behind us came up to us and told us our sewer hose flew out about 10 miles or so on a curve. He said not to bother going after it, it flew down the mountain.

That works for me. Rhino hose fits if you turn the connectors to fit in the corners of the bumper. I've never lost an end cap or had a problem with rust. Drain the water out of the hose before storage.

The bumpers the best, I use to keep my hoses in a closed plastic bin in the storage compartment, always had an odder as much as I rinsed them

This is exactly why we don't. Also, we have had hornets make nests in ours.
