This will blow your mind! Best tip of 2016 for those who tow!

Check this out!! Awesome upgrade. I wanted to add a light that would function at night when I'm in unlit areas towing. I couldn't see the rear tires as I approached turns, so I wanted to add something that would help. These lights are awesome! 1min install each and only $12 per light. They go into dim mode when there is no movement and then get super bright when there is motion. Lots of light beside the trailer.

Highly recommend. I'm finish uploading a YouTube video and will show you all the install.

They'd earn a ticket here in PA if on while underway. They would be great parking lights once at the site.

Turn them off until you need them in a unlit area with lot of turns.

Oh, I agree. Good for the campground and parking lots. Can't be on while on a roadway though. Can they be remotely shut off or do they get activated by a switch on the unit.

Again, I am thinking of doing the same on my trailer with led spot lights for getting into sites and tight campgrounds..

I'd be curious to how it holds up in wet road conditions.

X2 ,
Think lights in the location of the tires could be okay if amber in color and not bright. Many units have amber running lights there already.

Oddly enough, I was just looking at these lights on amazon the other day for a different purpose.

Amber would be fine here it's the white that would jam you up.

You are very correct in your assessment of pa laws. I live in PA and you would definitely get pulled over if you had something like this on

White lights on the side ov a moving vehicle are not legal when vehicle is moving. Can only run amber. Reason they confuse other traffic who may think it something driving at them. While lights permitted only to front of vehicle and for license plate light.

I have one on my garage. Great light more blue than white. Probably a problem on the road.

I don't see a manual off switch. Am I missing something?

Safe travels

43yrs. Driving a 53ft trailer with no lights by the wheels, never had a problem. Always take the most room you need on your turns. I never come in to campground at night, but if ever I had to , the wife can hold the flashlight.----don't tell her!

Why not just add an amber LED clearance light in that location? That would make them legal.
