Those tiny lights keep me awake
I don't even know how to title this or the name of these lights (notification) lights? The lights that let you know the furnace is on, the refrigerator is on, the radio, keep me awake at night. They're piercing bright at 3am, especially in a (delightfully) pitch dark camp site.
I have been putting a little stack of electrical tape over them when we go to bed but tape residue is being left and that's ugly.
Does anyone have a system they use? Does this even bother anyone else? Sleep masks don't stay on, I am trying.

Any light at all drives me nuts. So I feel your pain!
Have you seen Light Dims? They black out the glow from those indicator lights. They also make different strengths in case you just want them dimmed.

I read where someone used the clear plastic covers for reports, they come in a pack with different colors. They cut to size and wet them and said they stick right over the bright display and you can use a different color if you want.

I'm just the opposite. If it is so dark that I can't see anything I get claustrophobic then need to get dressed and go for a walk outside.

Oh, great ideas, but the post it notes don't cover well. I went straight to Amazon to check out Light Dims (genius idea) and someone suggested painters tape. I put those on My List and am going to try painters tape first.
I'm glad I'm not the only one, I see my husband mentally rolling his eyes at me when I cover all these lights.

As used on paper.
A light coat of liquid White Out.
Light can still be seen, just a little.
Can be scraped off with finger nail if needed.

I shut off the water pump at night so the lighted switch doesn't bother me. Blue painters tape for the DVD player and the microwave display.
Good luck!

You get some static cling window material. Cut that as desired and stick electrical tape on top of that. Apply and remove as needed and no residue.
