toilet paper unraveling

My TP roll tends to unravel while on the road. Today after driving about a hundred miles I found the entire roll unraveled on the floor.

This probably happens to others. What suggestions or fixes are there for this issue?

Ideally, I want to keep the holder on the wall but I would also like to move it further from the door in my 2250. I am always bumping in to it.

How the holder is mounted to the wall, what hardware is used? I see the little buttons but hesitant to play with them and screw something up.

Thanks,

Bobby

How about keeping a rubber band on the spool for when you travel? We never had this issue.

OK, you gave me an option. I have gear ties that I got from Home Depot. They come is various sizes, are reusable and easy to tie and untie. I will give them a try.

We just take the roll off the holder and stick it in a basket on the shelf while we travel. No more unrolling when it's just sitting there instead of free spinning on a holder.

Tp or not to tp

A spring loaded type clothes pin. Clip it to the roll, kinda like a pinch to one side.

Squeeze it. Make the inside oblong/eye shaped.

That use to happen to us all the time it was aggravating to say the least. What we do now is put one of those black small bunges around the roll, that stopped that problem.

Youroo, tadpole, and toilet paper just about sums it up quite nicely.
