Great idea, Harbor Freight has them for $14.99 and $21.99, use the 20% off coupon and save a few bucks.

I have had problems with bouncing as well in my toy hauler. I have a local Harbor freight and will try this out. Do you happen to have an item number for the brace?

A few of us made our own and are self storing with homemade brackets that attach to the frame and the jacks. Last pictures are just angle iron bolted to the flange on the I beam.

That's nice work. I own a large fabrication and powder coat company here in fla and had planned to make them but after being in a pinch and using the cargo bars I probably won't as they work well and I couldn't build a set of 4 for 80.00. Also many don't have the means to build their own or maybe don't want to spend the money buying them so I thought this tip would be helpful

I found the scissor chocks take a lot of travel by locking the tires together.

I went to HF and bought two of these to try this weekend. I also have one xchock that I use as well.

I didn't find the X-chocks take out much of the bouncing at all. What did was adding an extra pair of stabilizers mid-ship. This idea combined with the mid ships would probably make it as solid (Cheaply) as you could possibly get without putting it on blocks and taking the tires off.

The one xchock does help mine out quite a bit. I forgot to install once on one of our trips and the th was extra bouncy. I went out and checked the scissor jacks and found I had forgotten to install the xchock. I still have bounce so that is why I am trying this.
This is the last trip of the season for us so I figured give these bars a quick try since they are fairly cheap and HF is right here in town. I do plan install an extra set of jack near the middle next season. If these bars don't help I can easily take them back.

The bars do help but on 40' Toy hauler I think I still need to add more/new jacks. Will continue testing overnight with these bars.

We are in our toy hauler tonight. I've got most of the weight off of the axles/tires and on the scissor jacks with my load bars in place on all four jacks and the RV is rock solid

Watch how much weight you put on those scissor jacks. They aren't meant to take the weight of the unit or even most of the weight. Could do more harm than good.

In the spring I'm going to replace my two rear stabilizing jacks and probably add 4 more jacks. Two in front of the axles and two right behind the axles. I'm going to put heavier lifting jacks on.
