turn of inverter?

I just bought a surveyor 226rlds and it has the residential fridge. should I turn off the inverter when connected to shore power?

also should i use a pressure reducer on the black tank flush?

Owners manual?? Guessing, I would say it (the fridge) probably switches over to shore power automatically and turns inverter off.

Are you positive your RV has an inverter, and you are possibly not confusing the term with converter?

I'm also not able to locate that model on the surveyor website. I saw a 266 RLDS and a 226 RBDS

I have a different unit, however the inverter should operate the same. In mine it automatically switches between shore and battery power. I only turn it off when in storage.

Most factory installed inverters operate like this. They have an internal transfer switch that connects to shore power when it's available.

Get the make and model of your inverter, then let Google lead you to a factory manual.

It's also quite common to have an external transfer switch. Either way, no action is required. It's automatic...

sorry, yeah its a 266rlds. i ask because the inverter does have an on off switch.
