Dumb question, but I don't Know! Do I need to Pick up a Cable for the tv? if so, what is the best thanks

Are you talking about carrying a coax cable to hook up your camper to a campground's cable outlet?

If you mean a cable to go between the camper and park supplied cable, then yes, you probably need to grab one if you want to utilize cable. Just about any 25' to 50' coax should work. If you mean for something other than what I've described we need more info. WHat camper you have and what type of connections you want to use? Most newer campers have an antenna and it is usually piped thru a signal booster and then on to the TV. If you have a TV, then usually all the needed internal cords are supplied.

Yes, the coax cable is what I was asking. I noticed at the walk through we just hit the booster and got quite a few stations with no hookup. Is that normal? I think I will pick up a coax though. Thanks guys for the quick replies

The booster button is also a switch between antenna and park cable (when hooked up)

There are several threads here on how to use your roof antenna system and find the best reception. The cable is only for use in campgrounds that provide it.

We've had a camper that did not come with a TV and one that did. If you have to supply your own TV, you'll probably need a very short piece of coax - a couple of feet- to connect your TV to the connection that's inside the camper, as well as the 15- or 20-foot length that others have described for connecting to the outside of the camper. Also you want to leave the antenna booster OFF when watching TV on cable.

if you forget and not turn booster off does it do any harm or just lousy reception

Booster on - receives from antenna
Booster off - receives from park cable input

No harm on or off.
