U shaped dinette to bed
Hello everyone,
we just recently purchased our first travel trailer - a 2016 Vibe Extreme Lite 308 BHS. It is a great trailer. However, we were not able to figure out how to convert the u-shaped dinette into a bed. It seems that there is always a piece missing in the puzzle and we tried almost every combination. If anyone would have a tip or could post a photo of the converted dinette, we would be very grateful!

What "piece" are you missing? You take the two poles out, drop the table top down, and place the cushions on the table top. We usually take out the center seat bottom, and put the two back rest cushions where the center cushion was. Then we put the center cushion on the table top. If you put the seat backs on the table top, the outside one tends to fall off the edge in the middle of the night. The center cushion is bigger, so it is less likely to fall off.

The chrome table supports are in their mounts very tight. Once out as mentioned, you will see the table sits on the edge of the bench seats to be center of the bed.

Thanks for the replies. I assume that there should not be a gap...I tried to post a photo, but it did not let me upload... the 2 back rest cushions don't fill completely. The gap is 3 inch or so.

Hi All,
I'm usually good at puzzles, but can't figure this out. If the Vibe is supposed to come with a supplemental cushion, I did not get one. Here are a couple of pictures of the gap...

Never seen one quite like that ???
I believe our 2013 Sunseeker uses the center back cushion & the extra cushion,,, I do not think end cushions are removable ???
Maybe your Dinette is larger than ours ???

After taking a 2nd look @ your first photo,,,
I think you maybe trying to make it to large,,,
Cushions should not stick out past the table top ???
Also do you have the table top in the right way ???

Hey guys, I have a 2015 Vibe 308BHS we just bought two weeks ago. During our walk through we discovered the same issue. Had about 10 folks from the dealership come give it a shot. Long story short... they called the Vibe dealer and he said its a known issue and they made the cushions incorrect. They submitted a warranty claim for us and the new cushions should be here the first week of Aug we are being told.
So, call your dealer and have them enter a claim... they should be able to get this fixed!

Actually I spoke to someone today with the Vibe team and they said its actually a filler cushion that's been developed. Just call and have one ordered.
