That Sani-tube super slider is a nice piece for the hoses with the fittings on them. I installed mine on the frame brackets where the electric stabilizers would have been mounted

That hose WILL ABSOLUTELY FIT in a 4" square bumper. I store three sections of RhinoFlex in mine. You simply rotate the fittings so the tabs line up with the corners of the bumper.

Using my best hang-dog look: You guys are correct. It does fit. I didn't rotate the orange fitting to slide it in. I promise I'm not as dumb as this thread suggests. And I did find out what those two supports were for.

Sorry to hijack the thread...but:
Please explain 'how' to turn the fittings correctly so that a sewer hose
will fit in a 4" tube.
Thanks!

Glad you came away with a good outcome.

Turn the hose/the orange part the fittings will follow. The 90º piece wont fit nor the adapter.

You are correct that the threaded adapter won't fit... but if you unlock it from the 90º elbow and leave the elbow attached to the hose, it will fit in the bumper too.

You may be able to get the hose into the bumper... but a number of reasons why you may not want to:
1. The inside of the bumper is often rough from being welded together and can chew up the hose.
2. The endcaps are prone to working out/off and then you hose starts falling out while going down the road.
Me, I just go for the 6" PVC fence post mounted just ahead of the wheels. Not going to drag there, easy to get in/out, and right next to the plumbing. Made a spring loaded rotating latch for the end cap so it will never come out without my assistance. I thought this was a well known mod here on this forum since that is where I got it.

If the end caps are a problem,,, you just drill a small hole thru the top of the bumper & the end cap,,, and insert a bolt or screw or even a nail !!!

My husband attached a 5" square fence post vertically to left of ladder. The entire sewer hose and fittings go up in there perfectly. The bumper is too flat.
I would post pictures ... but it's in the shop...

Seams like that would be a real tough job putting the hose in & out ???
If I remember correctly,,, some folks put part of a plastic rain gutter in there bumper to protect the hose ???
Or am I dreaming again ???
LOL !!!

Getting the sewer hose in is really easy, we've both done it. Use it, rinse it, shake it and run it up. He used a fence post cap, put holes through the post and the cap. You run a long bolt through to hold the hose in. When you want to use it, pull the bolt and the hose falls out.
It requires holding the hose up a little on one side to get the bolt through. It's easy once you do it.
I think it would be OK with the bolt holding the hose in and no cap but my husband thinks the cap looks better.
I do not tolerate much jiggering with stuff. My husband has the patience of a saint and does not mind complicated adjustments and I just can't. You wouldn't believe how he was tying his kayak to his truck, I thought I would lose my mind just watching and I could never learn those complicated knots. Well, I helped him out, got some ratchets and straps. Takes a few minutes now for both of them.
I saw this sewer setup on an older truck camper, and took a lot of pictures. The truck camper looked like it came with this, so Don had to figure out how to attach ours. He used plumbing tape with rubber strips underneath the tape and attached to the ladder. I was afraid it would be really tacky, but it's not bad. I can't tolerate tacky either. This MH has brought out my inner doll house owner.

Not sure about the rain gutter in the bumper... but I have a rain gutter in my fence post. The rain gutter slides in/out of the fence post perfectly and makes a perfect tray to hold the two lengths of sewer hose.
