Will be storing my 360XL outside for winter, Dealer is winterizing for me, but what should I do with batteries. Remove them, leave them in with trickle charger. Also should store jacks up or down.
I take my batteries indoors and place a trickle charger on them periodically to top off.
x2. In the winter I keep my boat and camper batteries on trickle charge in my basement (sitting on a 2x8 board, though I believe on the cement is fine...your urban myth's may vary).
In the summer those get swapped out with the snowmobile batteries.
I too take them inside for the winter, but I was instructed many years ago to never place batteries directly on the ground as this causes them to drain. I always put them onto a piece of wood. Never had a problem

I always bring mine into the house. And I was always told to store with stabilizer jacks up.

Molly, my camping cockapoo, crossed the Rainbow Bridge in May 2020. She was almost 18. Still miss her.
My new companion is Maggie, a maltipoo. She was a year old in April.

In my "heated" garage (maintained at 45 degrees, on the cement with a trickle charger.
MC's are connected to trickle charges as well but the batteries are still on the bikes. Never had an issue.
I leave mine in the trailer disconnected with the disconnect switch. It goes down poast -30 here and never an issue. Once or twice during the winter on a nice day I will hookup my big intelli charger and top the battery off which only takes an hour or so as batteries does not lose much charge at all when disconnected. I use the exact same battery on my 30 mile electric fencer and it goes for 2 months at a time without being charged sitting in a wood box on an old plastic milk carton and never has an issue.
