Cool Wheel Alignment

Our Georgetown Class A clocked four years old this year. Driving was pretty easy, it didn't exactly pull to the right or the left, but it seemed to wander just a little bit. In other words, I had to be diligent about keeping big tub in the middle of the lane. I couldn't relax.

This has the Ford F 550 truck chassis and 30,000 miles. So I took it to the Ford Miramar Truck Service Center for an alignment. They kept it for just one day and aligned both the front and the track of the rear. At four years in service, a tire rotation was a good idea too.

Wow! the improvement was huge. Just tracks like it is on a railway again. It seems that the change was so slight over the years that it really didn't seem to be too bad before the alignment. This was very much worth the $470. Note the tires were not showing unusual wear. This is so good that I can sleep at the wheel again.
