This thread caught my interest!
At home we have both. Gas and charcoal.
After reading all the comments I think I'll pick up a small charcoal grill to carry on board for Jim's steaks. Personally I enjoy the charcoal route. The time it takes to get it "just right" is spent in preparing dinner and a cool drink and the meat tastes so much better! Thanks guys!
Gas is fine if time is limited in my opinion!
