who takes one of these camping?

Portable blower fan.
My dw just about shot me with my own gun when I purchased this for the camper.
But after she seen me use it to cool off one hot and sticky afternoon its mandatory to make sure its along for the trip and now I have to buy another for me.

I will need to get one. We camped with some friends last year that had one of those just a tad bigger and red. Noticed one other benefit, they make it difficult for the mosquitoes to fly around your ankles.

Roger the mosquito wind tunnel!
I like the multi position feet that allow it to be adjusted to different angles.
And three speeds!

That wouldn't even be noticed by Arkansas mosquitos. Two of them would just pick it up and throw it back at ya! Those puppies are big, vicious and plentiful. Can't sit out after dark regardless of defensive measures.

You need to see our black flies. Mosquitoes run and hide when our black fly season starts.

Been in Minnesota and Wisconsin and witnessed the black flies (more like run from them), but I am telling you, the Arkansas rice field mosquitoes would eat them. Just about the same as the California rice field mosquitoes. I've never seen anything as bad.

If anyone is traveling I 40 east of Little Rock in the late spring until late fall, DO NOT STOP until you get past Forrest City if you want to sit out by a campfire after dusk. It cannot be done, I guarantee it! We lived just east of LR and know from experience.

Camping in Vermont, the stores had signs that said the state bird was the moose-quito! They were huge!

Thanks Ron, I bought a fan like that off the tool truck ( one of my favorite places), I needed to cool the mufflers when I run bikes on the dyno. It did not work very well for that and has been just sitting under the bench. I just wrote it off as another brain fart that didn't work out.
