Wind Chill Chart

In the next few days I thought this little chart might be helpful. It also shows frostbite times for exposed skin.

BTW, have you winterized yet?

Some "English" and metric charts for wind chill only.

https://www.eol.ucar.edu/homes/rilling/wc_table.html

And Environment Canada's page about all things wind chill and exposure. (and THEY know!)

Canada’s Wind Chill Index - Weather and Meteorology - Environment Canada

The whole concept of wind chills was invented years ago by a really mean, vindictive weatherman.

"You think you feel miserable at 5 below zero? Just get a load of THIS!"

B47, I've been trying to chill out, but it only adds to the problem.

Yeah - I know. Maybe this will help - it's currently 52 here with a forecasted high of 56 and partly cloudy.

I know it's not Florida, but with no snow,it's not bad and there's no mention of wind chill in the forecast.

Came home from work early (declined overtime) to get the pink stuff in. Was hoping to avoid it, but winter is supposed to be really hard this year.
