Get it
Best $20-30 you will spend and the easiest thing you will ever install on your unit.....good luck only thing that might be better is the OXY shower head.....but I watch TV a lot more than I bathe.....

I have a regular campground & site at the beach that I visit often. The difference between having the Wingman is with over-the-air stations is that the picture is clearer and doesn't break up. I don't think I get any more channels but I haven't really put much effort into searching for the perfect antenna location either.

I as well as several fellow campers I know have installed the Wingman and yes it does work. You do have to aim it toward the strongest signal with the help of the signal strength meter on your tv. I would definately get one or look at installing the Jack antenna which I've read good things about.

The jack antenna allows you to aim it but doesn't need to be cranked up or down.
I've had experience with both and you cannt go wrong either way.

Had the wingman and saw NO real difference. Bought a JACK antenna replacement head and saw a BIG difference.

I installed one right when they came out.
They advertise you will double your channels.
Before installing I received 6 over the air digital channels while parked in my driveway.
After installing (and without even raising the antenna) I was able to pull in 20.
After deleting the Spanish channels & was getting 15 so it worked better than advertised.
Just remember, it’s not a fix all cure. I have set up in a half dozen places where no signal could be found at all.

Check out the product review forum on this device.
It gets a "Herk's Thumb's Up"

I agree.
I had to bend one of the metal wings a bit as it caught under the AC cover when closed and would catch when trying to crank up. Otherwise very good results.

I replaced the OEM older version winegard with the Jack Digital HDTV Antenna as one of my first MODs on our new Sabre. At first, I was going to add on the "Wingman" to help with the UHF-HD, but after seeing a demo at an RV show I decided to spend a little more and try the Jack Digital. I did install the Wingman on our previous TT and got good results with that as well.
I only have one piece of data to share...the "before and after" test on the side of my house produced ~ 11 more channels using the Jack Digital Antenna. btw..it was a very easy unstall, but not as easy as the Wingman. I don't have any actual data comparing reception between the Wingman and Jack digital, but my feeling is that the Jack does a little better.
I also use the King Control Dig TV Finder which helps locate th strongest digital signal prior to doing a channel scan
Just rotate the antenna and peak the signal strength. Works great...especially in fringe areas
Hop this helps.

I made a hurried and "last-minute" installation of this product before our trip up into the Pacific NW and Canada this past June. It was a good investment.
I really didn't know how good it really was until we returned home and I got to test it from our farm which is situated ~50 miles NE of Kansas City, MO.
Our house TV runs off a gigantic antenna on a 30 foot mast that runs through an RCA amplifier.
The Wingman enabled my standard trailer antenna to duplicate the performance at the house!!!
Excellent value in this product and a cinch to install!
Highly recommended!

Thanks for all of the help. I think after reading these post I have made the decision to go ahead and spend a little more and get the Jack Digital.
