Winter Cover for Travel Trailer?

This will be our first winter owning a travel trailer. I understand there is winterizing of the plumbing, but what about a cover for the trailer? We live in the Salt Lake City area which does get snow throughout the winter months. I've noticed about a 60/40 split between trailers not being covered and trailer with some type of cover on them. I have heard pros and cons of both. What are some opinions here? Our trailer will be parked nice to our garage.
