12v wont power anything!?!

The breaker at the battery is usually for the lift motor. If they don't have a button, then they reset once power is removed.

And follow your positive cable underneath your unit. There is usually another circuit breaker at the front where the 7 pin connector connects to the trailer wiring

How do I tell if the breakers are bad?

I have checked all the fuses, charged the battery, cleaned the terminals and still nothing. When I hook into shore power all of the AC plugs in the camper work, but that is it. No lights, no lifter winch, no roof fan, etc. I am at a loss. We are going camping next week, and I would really like my brand new camper to work correctly. I am feeling really defeated!

Thanks everyone for all of your suggestions and support.

Set voltmeter to 20VDC. Put one probe on the + side of the battery. put the other probe on a clean contact point on the frame. What is the reading?

Was the Red probe on the Plus terminal of the battery?

Something is strange. You should not see a negative voltage. Are you sure the battery is connected correctly?

positive to the black wire, negative to the white wire. I don't know what the heck is going on.

I followed the white wire back, and it is connected directly to the frame, as was suggested in an earlier post.

The other odd thing was that the fuses all seemed to get very warm to the touch when I plugged into shore power. I thought that was unusual. I really have not the foggiest, luckily I am learning a lot with this adventure and everyone on this forum has been great so far.

I just tested the voltage again. Must have had the probes backwards the first time. My reading was 12.74

BigPete -- Can you give us the model of your converter/power panel, or post a pic of it with the front open?

Be sure the shore power is off and the power cord is unplugged. Then pull the converter out of the wall and test the voltage at the battery terminals on the unit. Let us know if you have 12 volts to them?
