14' Flagstaff

Hi, We are looking at a 2000 14' Flagstaff. We are first time Popup folks so I am looking for advice. I checked the floor and it looks good. The fabric has a few tears but they are small and I think I can repair. I am not sure what size beds are in the unit. Is there a dimension I should use to determine the size? I have not tried the lift system yet. Any input would help.

Go through every single item on the popup. Make sure you operate everything. I mean everything. Handles, drawers, fans, lights, grill, hw heater (if one), fridge, heater, every single minute thing.

Make sure you don't get sucked into the shiny things and gloss over the bad stuff just because you want it. I do not know your level of handiness, but don't take on too much to fix. There are tons of great pups for sale. You must have patience.

Thanks, I figured I had a ways to go on this one before I am ready to buy. There are three small tears in the vinyl but I think the tears are repairable. The underside looked very sound. Everything was kinda in a state of disrepair inside. The tables were not set up and the stove didn't look like it fit right. I think it is the right stove so I am not sure what the problem is. I think all the beds are the same length but some are wider.....right?

In my opinion, if the pup is in a state disrepair, How much did they take care of it? Bearings, brakes, axle overloaded? Those things will add up quick. Just a thought. Not trying to dissuade you from buying it, just to keep you from buyers remorse.

You need to wet the canvas (with a hose), if it is 12 years old it's not the few tears that you need to check it's the waterproof. As for the rest I think mgbbob has you thinking in the correct direction.
