1640ltd brand new, bed ends leak

Have a new 1640ltd that bed ends leaked rain in. Take to dealer?

Did you wet the canvas? If not, it may leak the first time it gets wet. The seam threads swell when they get wet the first time and this seals the seam. I hosed mine down, let it dry and then hosed it down a second time to check for leaks. If you have done this and it is still leaking, then I would talk to the dealer.

Nope. We didn't wet it down no.

Then I would wait to see if the leaking continues before doing anything. And you may want to hose it down and check for it out.

The land of many lakes...... nice. We drove through the very southern end of your state on our way to Yellowstone several years ago. It had been a very wet spring and everything was so green. Would liked to have seen more. Maybe someday.
