1998 Rockwood pop up

I am looking at 1998 Rockwood pop up for my father in law. The one I am looking at does have air, heat (electric and gas), and a 3 way fridge, fresh water tank and sink and a three burner stove that works inside and out. Looks like it is good shape. They say no leaks and at least in the picture canvas looks like in really good shape.

The person is asking $2000 for it and I was wondering if that is a decent price. When looking at pop ups it seems they hold there value pretty well do price seemed reasonable to me but always like looking for other opionions

Also wondering how people like thier Rockwoods and if there is anything I need to look at specifically. When we bought out trailer we really didn't look at popups. Just jumped straight to a travel trailer.

Thanks for your help.

In regards to your question about if the seller is asking a decent price. I would recommend you start by looking up the book value on NADA. Their web site is:

Just put in the year, make, model, and options and it will give you a book value for the camper you are looking at.

We bought our 2005 Rockwood Premier pop-up in June and we love it. We are currently on our second camping trip with it.

Best of luck finding a pop-up camper.
