2001 Rockwood 2280

Hello

I recently got a 2001 Rockwood 2280. So far no problems to the pop up. I do have a question. On the roadside of the pop up there are 3 ports, however one is empty. the 1 st is the water tank fill, 2nd is the electric line, and the 3 rd is empty. Can anyone tell me what this port in used for? Thanks for any help.

second one looks to me like it also had a power cord sticking out like your middle one.
only difference is your cover is missing .
maybe they ran an extension cord out of it ?

Could be for a gas line. We had a PUP and it had a port that was empty. The gas line for the stove would disconnect inside then pass the hose through the port and was able to use the stove outside. If I owned the trailer I would replace the port with a new one. As stated you are missing the cover. It would make easy access for unwanted critters into the trailer.

on my old popups, there was a port like that for the propane pigtail to attach to the stove when i mounted it outside.

We had a 2008 2280 until a few weeks ago. It had the same empty slot. When we bought it the salesman told us it was slot for the A/C cord but because our unit did not come with A/C it was just an empty slot.
