2007 Rockwood Freedom 2280 pup spring tube problem

I failed to open one latch and used power winch to raise pup. A weld broke where the spring tube connects to the main tube. The push spring popped out, I shoved it back in. But the right front corner won't raise. Any ideas?

Your best bet is to call Goshen who makes the lift and order a replacement spring tube. I would not mess around as that is pretty critical to proper operation of the lift. It is not a particularly difficult job but you will need to remove the spring from the old tube and thread it into the new tube.

I would also review threads and videos on repairing Goshen pop up lifts so that you have a good idea of the steps needed.

I had a mobile RV repairman weld the spring tube back in place on the cassette and all is well. Been camping so much I forgot to update this forum.
