2012 flagstaff HW27KS with leaning roof

When we set up the camper, the roof goes up ok (or so we think) and the door fits in properly. Several hours later, we notice the top of the door is pulling away from the roof. This gradually gets worse as the days go by. It appears the roof is leaning to one side when looking at it from the rear. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

We have taken back to the dealer where purchased and we were told there must have been a strong wind that caused it to shift. This is our third popup and have never had this problem before.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Did you have the awning out? Many of us have that problem when using the awning and attaching it to the mounts on the side of the camper. There are many threads in the pop up section dealing with this and roof alignment issues.

did yours come with the thin sheet metal guides to put over the lift posts? They appear to be designed to keep the roof from falling after you raise it, though they are pretty thin. ours came with two, and i usually put them on opposite ends, opposite sides.

I wonder if that would help?

Ours has the awning, and we camped for a week with the awning out with no problem, but my general feeling is that pop-ups should not have awnings. just to much leverage being applied to a roof help up by 4 sticks.
