2012 Palomino 4120. No Battery Power

Hello. This is my first post and I'm fairly new to pop ups. I have a 2012 Palomino 4120 Pop Up. I have recently purchased a deep cycle battery so we can dry camp. It never had one hooked up before. I can't seem to get the lights to power on when I'm only hooked up via the battery. When I'm hooked up to house or at a campsite, everything works perfectly. I checked all of the fuses that I can find and they appear to be fine. I don't have an inline fuse on the red or white cables from the battery. they immediately run into a junction box under the frame. I checked all of those connections and they appear to be fine. The ground wires appear to be fine. I'm running out of options to try. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! Spencer

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. First are you sure you have the battery connected correctly. Next check that junction box and ensure the wires from the battery to the converter are connected red to positive lug white to numeral lug at the converter. Let the forum know what you find also check for an inline fuse on the battery lead along the frame.

I tried all of those things. I'm not seeing an inline fuse anywhere. The battery connections are good.

It may not look like a fuse but a small box with a small button on one end (resettable circuit breaker)

This is an example of the breaker type ...push to reset on top.

It may also be that you've inadvertently flattened the battery.
1. Disconnect black cable.
2. wait 24 hours
3. take a reading at the battery terminals. Less than 12.4V means serious loss of capacity. Less than 12.2 means you need to put them on a good charger to see if they can be saved.
