2014 Palomino Basecamp Edition Tent Trailers

Here's a 2014 Basecamp Edition 10DFG tent trailer by Palomino. I'm really thinking of buying one of these. Any thoughts?
They have new insulated bunk ends and higher end finishings. They go for around $15,000 with options up here in Vancouver Canada.

In general, the people in the Palomino threads seem pleased above average. Palomino is the brand I will likely go with on my next purchase, but I have no direct input on tent campers.

We have a 2013 Palomino Traverse Sequoia...we took it for our first camping trip last weekend and it is very nice! So far I am very happy with it....even though we blew a fuse and could not use the power lift...that is all in a whole thread I started... I think the features are very similar...even though ours is the Traverse line... Ours is fully loaded with a slide out dining area and cassette toilet and we got it for less that $11,000 U.S. dollars, but it was a leftover 2013 model...

Us Canadians typically pay more for the US products than you guys in the states do, sometimes allot more

Haven't made the purchase yet. Waiting for the dealer to maybe get one with a hot water tank. I mean they want all that $$$ and it doesn't have a hot water tank? I can get a brand new Coachmen Clipper for $3000 less with a hot water tank, and those new Clippers are build as good if not better than these Basecamps. I may end up in a Coachmen Clipper after all mainly because of price if these Palomimos don't drop in their price.

All that said its one nice looking pop up and seems build really well.

Definitely get one with a hot water tank. One with a 110v element and a DSI to save on propane if you can. My camping buddy bought a Palomino without a hot water tank and is forever boiling or begging. ( me for my hot water I mean )
My brother also bought Palomino. They are popups so not completely without issues, like any manufacturer. After all most parts are third party and purchased by the seperate manufacturers for install anyway.
