2017 228BHSE Sink

I need some help, we bought a 2017 Flagstaff 228BHSE, we took it this weekend to the lake and at the dealership they simply told us to remove the cap on the outside and attach a water hose and when we used the sink the water would simply run out of the water hose and onto the ground away from the camper, well before going and brushing our teeth my wife noticed the sink would not drain, with it being late I figured it could be a slow drain so we left it and upon waking up it was at the same level, I went outside and undid the water hose thinking it had something to do with it but it still wouldn't drain, finally I took the hose connected to the fresh water and turned it on while holding it in the sink and it finally drained but then again I tested it without the help of the freshwater hose and it wouldn't drain again until I put the freshwater hose in the drain and used some pressure to make it drain. I called the dealer and they said I could bring it and they could attach everything and see what's going on but they said they couldn't promise any results because I was doing everything right, this wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to drive 5 hours one way to the dealership for them to tell me the same thing as on the phone. Can anyone please help

I hope someone with a better answer chimes in, but I would check for a kink or obstruction n the pipe under the sink or you may need to vent the hose, there was a thread about adding a vent to the garden hose drain to help it drain - not sure if the link will work (if not search grey water vent, this should come up):
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...p-79323-2.html

Depending on where you camp, you may need to collect your grey water as some areas and campgrounds to not want/allow you to dump the grey on the ground. Many people use a 5 gallon aquatainer or bucket to collect the gray water and then dump it at the campground dump station or at the bathhouse.

Hope you find the issue with your drain - and many happy camping trips.

Thank you, I will check out that link and see if it will work, I tinkered with it yesterday and could not find a kink in it which is what I was thinking also. I even took apart the pea trap thinking maybe my 3 year old put something in the sink but it was clear. I'll have to try the vent and see if it works. Thank you for your reply
