what is the skin on the roof made of and what is the best protectant to use?..........so far I have just been using a uv protectant spray on.

Tis fiberglass and your favorite automotive wax will do fine in keeping it nice. Happy New Year.

it is fiberglass. Having suffered a fiberglass roof that developed micro cracks, my advice is that it should painted every few years with this:

I still have 1/2 gallon of the prep and probably 1/3 gallon of the coating in my garage.
