A Beeping Sound on Final Locking of Pop Up Top

We have a Flagstaff 2015 HW27KS and have gone on 3 camping trips. Now, when the top is completely lowered and we go to snap the top down, a beep starts coming from the rear of the camper. If we raise the roof about 1 inch, it stops. This has never happened before. We completely raised the roof again to make sure everything inside was off and it continues to happen. PLEASE HELP!!!

Beeping

If there is, I don't know how to find out! This has never happened before in our camping experiences with this camper. When we raise the whole thing up, I do not know where to look for anything that could be pushing on something that it shouldn't! It only happens when we try to latch the top.

As others noted, sounds like the smoke detector. Mine is located toward the back on the ceiling. If I push the side curtains, when the roof is lowered, it sometimes hits the test button on the detector. I just pull out and push the curtains in at a different angle.

That has never happened to me. Seems logical it could be the detector. Let us know what you find out.

Vin.
