Ac question

Hey all I have another question regarding my Ac. First time using it this weekend cause it was in the 90's. Do these roof units shut off when temp drops or do they just run. I don't remember if the one in my trailer I had in a park did shut off or not but that had a reg thermostat and I also had central air in it so I never used it. It's a brisk 2 roof with controls and it was nice and cold in there and the compressor was going off and on but the fan never stopped. Click image for larger version

Fan will always be running- compressor will cycle on and off as needed.

Thanks that's what I thought, so I guess it's going to run for a week if it's hot out. Don't want it to break for 8 days of heat

I usually would not turn mine off- even at night. Just adjust the temp when it gets to a comfortable point and let the compressor cycle. I found that if you wait for it to get hot, it's too late and the ac can't keep up.
