I under stand why carefree stopped, I was told because people didn't follow directions. Thinking the pins that would hold it in stored position. That could act like not unlatching the corner.

We are looking at a forest river roo 3 bunk 1 slide.
That why I got the Durango has a 7200 lb towing capacity.
