The only thing I cab think of is if some how you could mount through the support arms but then what would you do about the safety supports? Oh well just dreaming I guess. Maybe I'll try the next FR weekend at Goshen IN and start a conversation. US HW owners need something maybe even one like a Hi Lo TT have.

The one I used was the A&E Catalina 2500. Here is a link to the installation manual. I don't recall it being much heavier than the bag awning that it replaced.

If you can't open the link you can Google it and find a few copies. I had the 12' one.
Found the weight to be from 39 to 55 lbs depending on what size you get.
Not sure if they are still making them

May not be available, I only see replacement parts for them. And the existing trimline awning is listed at 17 lb. So these are a bit heavier. the dometic 8500 seems to be very similar to the catalina and is listed at 46 lbs.

I asked the forest river/Rockwood rep and he said there is no other awning for popups and that the 8500 would not work as it has those vertical supports. The weight limit of the roof is 400 lbs, but he did not answer my question on whether or not there was a weight limit for the awning or if the awning weight would effect the function of the roof.

Thank you. I'm thinking the weight leverage at extention out till legs were down wound hurt the roof cause being off level can affect the door alone.

I asked about the Dometic 9500 which is self supporting and does not have the legs but its at 90 pounds. he said that definitely would not work because the pop-up roof does not have the structure needed to support the mounts for that kind of awning.
