Axle bump stops

2318g has anyone ever install axle bump stops on there tent trailer ? . Thinking of installing them on mine

enlighten me - what is an axle bump stop and what does it do for you?

It is a hardened piece of rubber which is mounted to a bracket . Then you mounted above your axle to the frame limiting tire movement all the way up inside the fender well so no rubbing

Do you have a problem with rubbing?

If so it sounds like you have other issues.
Overloaded?
Weak springs?

hum, thanks for the info. We have had no issues with tires rubbing the wheel well. Have towed our high wall PUP just about 12,500 miles in 4 years and the tires still look new.

No overload couple sleeping bags take water brand-new trailer better not be weak springs factory tires that came with the trailer 175/8013
