Bed needs additional supports!

The pole that holds up the table, do they make that in a short size to add additional support when using it as a bed?

Will the mounts be aligned when the table is in the down position?
If they are, I may do the same thing.

i've been toying with the idea of removing the table and using slats for the bed as my backside doesn't like fitting between the table and cabinets. Also, I get tired of turning the table left then right for us to use it.

You could make some plywood caps for the pvc and just put them in the table sockets and let the pvc sit on the floor anywhere.

We got rid of the table and bought an air mattress. No more hassle.
