Are the rails for attaching the awnings essentially the same interior dimensions? We have a Dometic that came with our PUP, and the sun ate it up in 3 seasons. I'd like to consider another brand.
1) are any other brands superior to Dometic?
2) will the "enclosed rope" from other brands fit the Dometic rail?

You could get salvage and replace the material if needed. E-bay or Amazon might be your friend.
