OK, then put a bike rack on the front of the truck then. I hear you can get receiver hitches for the front of some trucks and a welder can certainly fab something up.

Thanks for all the input from everyone. I will figure something out that doesn't break the bumper off. I especially like kicklight's setup. That would be a good duck blind if painted camo.

Definitely NOT for a short box. Turning onto a street would drag the bikes across the back of my cab.

Roof racks for the top of the truck cab should be fine. I don't have quick disconnect wheels on any of my bikes, though.
