Exactly. This is a whole new ball game for me as well. Just have to keep experimenting.

See if this site will help.

https://sites.google.com/site/cbruni/

It should be the original Geo Method instructions.

Yeah. I plan on prediluting some blue stuff in a few gallons like I did for my cassette toilet reservoir tank. I will pour that in before we use it and hopefully it will cut down on the smell.

Thanks Bill.

Ok. Maybe I am not losing it. I made a note of what I needed for the Geo method and that link @ #3 says to use Bleach also.

But have people modified this method and no longer use bleach?

i have been dumping only the amount i use. ive been reading: water water water so im thinking before taking down and going to the dump i think i will fill the rest of the black tank with water that way i get a full amount of force behind the crap!! i know it might be a waste of water but think that might work better then multiable back fills. i dont know wish FR would have installed a rinse or at least gave use a cut out somewhere.

I totally agree. I am not looking for a turbo washer or something installed but it would have been nice if there was an outside water outlet to just fill the tank with water. That at least would have allowed us to run some water thru it. I think it is even more important on a pop up since the top is down and we cannot get in to put water down the toilet. If one could at least pump water into the tank while the top is down, we could at least run water thru the system.

As it stands now we must run a hose into the pup to fill the black thru the toilet.

Btw. From what I can see. The toilet is in the back corner of the pup. It is near the bunk zipper on the end. If one was to unzip that corner by the black tank vent pipe or support, is it easy to run a hose thru the opening? That might work. the main problem is you are not near the shut off if something goes wrong.

Would have been so much easier if they had just put an outlet on the outside of our pup's.

Do you think one can put water down the stink pipe? How does the stink pipe attach? Does it go into the wall? Does it attach to a flange at the top of the wall so one can easily replace the flexible hose if it breaks. Maybe a simple pipe clamp?

There has to be a way into this black tank!!!!

It's quite simple, it's called a Flush King. It attaches to the outlet and back fills your tank.

Yes. But apparently with these units the black tank is under the toilet and above the subfloor. There is no access to the tank that would allow one to drill a hole in it to install a flush king type device or anything else for that matter.

Vin.

There is no need to drill a hole anywhere.

Look up Flush King. Believe me it's exactly what you need. Again, it attaches to your outlet and back fills your tank. This is the outlet where you attach your stinky slinky when you dump.

Your right. Sorry about that. I was thinking of something else.

That might just work out fine. Now all we need to do is find a hose meter so we can know how many gallons we pump up into the tank when the top is closed. Would not want to overfill it and have it blow into the pop up. YUCK!.

If you use your same water pressure regulator, and it's a good one that always delivers the same output pressure regardless of input pressure then it's just a matter of timing the flow. Practice with the top up and access to the tank gauge.
