Bunk board repair

Pullout bunk bed was stuck, turns out board was a little warped, came apart, and split piece was getting stuck on the roller. What are my options? Replace the whole split piece or just patch it? I don't want to tackle replacing the entire board.

that piece looks so thin that i dont believe you could patch it. using any kind of fastener to patch it would probably weaken the board again. maybe if you added a completely new strip all the way across to reinforce.

Pop rivet a thin alum plate on it.
